Use.
A commercial building begins with what needs to happen inside it.
COAD88 CONCRETE designs considered small- and medium-scale buildings, including medical and allied health facilities, offices, headquarters, wineries, cellar doors, specialist production spaces, wellness facilities, showrooms and creative studios.
Each project brings different priorities—circulation, privacy, accessibility, acoustics, storage, production or public interaction.
We develop the building around its operation, site and long-term use. Practical, but never purely functional.

Concrete.
At Work.
Concrete can give a commercial building structure, durability and a distinct identity.
Depending on the project, it may be used through precast panels, insulated concrete systems, in-situ concrete or hybrid construction incorporating steel, glass and other materials.
Its mass can contribute to acoustic comfort and more stable internal conditions when combined with appropriate insulation, glazing and building systems.
For workplaces, medical facilities, production spaces and wineries, concrete can be both practical and expressive.
The construction method is selected for the building—not imposed on it.

Built Together.
COAD88 CONCRETE brings building design and registered construction together for selected commercial projects.
We develop the design, prepare the documentation and coordinate the engineers, specialist consultants, permits and approvals required for the project. The resolved design is then delivered by our construction team.
For projects we construct, we work from designs developed by COAD88. Separate design, documentation and advisory services are also available.
Based in Fitzroy North, we primarily construct across Melbourne’s inner suburbs. Selected commercial and regional projects, including wineries and cellar doors, may be considered according to their location and scope.
